Madelaine (Maddy) Carter, MPH

Research Associate

Madelaine (Maddy) Carter holds a Masters Degree in Public Health from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, specializing in Health Promotion.

Maddy's previous experience includes conducting research in hospital and academic settings using survey and clinical data, and, most recently, producing and translating research findings to inform policy and operational decision-making for the Canadian Dental Care Plan at Health Canada.

In her current role at VHA, Maddy leverages administrative data to generate insights about clients and the home and community care workforce. She is passionate about health equity, program evaluation, knowledge translation, and is committed to ensuring that high quality research is communicated effectively and used to strengthen the health and well being of communities.
