Shanshan Gu, MScPT, MLD, CDT is a Registered Physiotherapist with VHA Home HealthCare in the Central North region. Holding a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, she brings over 10 years of clinical experience across hospital, outpatient, and community rehabilitation settings. Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), Shanshan specializes in oncological and chronic edema management. She has a proven track record of leading clinical initiatives, including hospital outpatient education programs, and has served as a chief editor and author for clinical rehabilitation publications.

Through the VHA-UHN CAP Fellowship, Shanshan is excited to empower frontline rehab providers with practical toolkits to improve community edema care.
