At VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) our staff and service providers are passionate about delivering quality care with great heart and helping clients and families live with more independence in their community.

Every year through VHA’s Client Choice Awards, hundreds of clients show their support and gratitude for their care providers by nominating them for this meaningful recognition of spectacular care.

In 2007, VHA started an annual program to recognize and honour staff and service providers who demonstrate spectacular client care. We transformed this staff recognition program into the Client Choice Awards in 2015 and began involving clients and their families in the nomination process. These nominations give clients and families the opportunity to identify exceptional service and share their appreciation for the excellent care they receive from their personal support workers, nurses, rehab service providers and coordinators.

A selection committee made up of representatives from across VHA, as well as a Client and Family Partner, took on the difficult task of selecting this year’s winners. This inspiring group of 10 winners were awarded and announced at VHA’s annual Staff Recognition Event in October. Congratulations to all winners and nominees!
