VHA Home HealthCare achieves redesignation as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization

Recently, VHA’s Professional Practice team met with delegates from the Registered Nurse’ Association of Ontario (RNAO) to confirm VHA’s completion of requirements leading to its redesignation as a Best Practice Spotlight Organization (BPSO).
VHA’s redesignation as a BPSO recognizes initiatives implemented over the last two years to meet evidenced-based recommendations in two selected RNAO Best Practice Guidelines (BPGs): Transitions in Care and Services, and Developing and Sustaining Interprofessional Health Care. VHA first achieved BPSO designation status in 2015 and has met the standard of implementing two new BPGs with each renewal. In this upcoming cycle, VHA is committed to advancing practice in the following two BPGs aligned with our values and strategy.

- Clinical Practice in a Digital Health Environment
