Paramjot (Param) Sidhu holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Western University and has a background in biomedical science. Committed to advancing health equity, she works closely with vulnerable populations to co-design and implement innovative solutions that address their unique needs.
Her recent work has focused on improving workplace safety for personal support workers by promoting the reporting of workplace violence and harassment incidents. Through this initiative, she has helped deliver trainings to enhance reporting within home and community care settings, to work towards creating a safer and more supportive environment for frontline care providers.
In addition to her work in workplace safety, Param is passionate about community-based interventions that support marginalized populations, integrating evidence-informed approaches to improve access to care.
