Jennifer Hyc
2025 Graduate Research Award Winner
Jennifer Hyc is an MSc student in University of Toronto's Health Systems Research program at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation.
Jennifer's research interests include frailty and older adults, living in place, and building community and home care capacity. Her current research is focused on identifying and defining patient complexity within integrated hospital-to-home care models that capture complex seniors across medical and surgical pathways. The objective is to better understand how both patients and providers understand and view complexity, with the long-term goal of aligning perspectives to collaboratively refine program design and capture of complex patients transitioning home from hospital.
