We asked you to share your feedback and the results are in: VHA’s 2024-25 Client Experience Feedback Report

Delivering care that is high quality, reliable, and client and family-centered is always at the heart of everything we do at VHA. Our commitment to providing excellent care delivered with heart and led by science, is made possible by measuring our performance through the data collected when we ask how we’re doing. To keep a pulse on the care we’re providing, we ask our clients and caregivers to share their feedback through a survey. Thanks to the insights you provided, we’re excited to share the results from the 2024-25 surveys.
Between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025 we received a total of 2,878 responses and overall, we received a Satisfaction Rate of 85%.
Highlights from this year’s results include:
- 95% of respondents felt they were treated with courtesy and respect
- 93% felt safe during care
- 90% indicated their care providers listened carefully and 91% understood their needs
- 89% noted their care providers explained things in a way that was easy to understand
- 90% said their care providers arrived on time
- 87% confirmed services were provided as per their care plan
‘Listening to our care recipients is one of the most important things we do. We’re inspired by what we’ve done well and use this information to act on areas where we can get better, and we do this work in partnership with client partners who can guide us best!’
One area of focus will be working on care planning with 71% of clients and caregivers reporting they’d like to feel more informed and engaged in the process. Teams will be working on determining how to do this best, making care plans available and accessible on-site and online and we’re eager to see the impact ahead.
