VHA Announces Trevor Heer as VP, Integrated Client & Community Care and Chief Operating Officer

VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) is delighted to announce that, effective December 1st 2025, Trevor Heer has been appointed Vice President, Integrated Client & Community Care (IC&CC) and Chief Operating Officer in a permanent capacity.
Trevor took on this position on an interim basis in September 2025 and has been instrumental in guiding the IC&CC team to achieve their 2025 objectives and continue to provide high quality care and service. Following a thorough internal and external search, there was full consensus that Trevor was VHA’s top candidate and should be appointed to the permanent role.
As the organization heads towards year two of our Strategic Plan 2025-2030, Trevor’s strategic and collaborative leadership will serve VHA well. He will be leading important initiatives to enhance the care experience for our clients, carers, staff and service providers, continuing to improve operational efficiencies so that more time can be spent on direct client care, and working closely with sector partners to expand innovative and integrated models of care.
In speaking with Trevor about his appointment, he shared: “I am excited and humbled to be appointed as VHA’s new Vice President, Integrated Client and Community Care and Chief Operating Officer. I look forward to working closely with our team of exceptional leaders, staff and service providers, and client and family partners to execute VHA’s important five-year strategic plan. It is a transformational time for home care, and I am keen to represent VHA externally and underscore the importance of home and community care at various health system planning tables.”
Trevor’s business intelligence combined with his people-centred approach and his belief in the important role home care plays in a well-functioning healthcare system, will be key in helping VHA to deliver on its Purpose: Care at home. Delivered with heart. Led by science. Please join us in congratulating Trevor on this well-deserved promotion.
