Julia Hanigsberg Joins VHA’s Board of Directors

VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) is pleased to announce that Julia Hanigsberg, President and CEO of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, has joined its Board of Directors.

Throughout the past decade at Holland Bloorview, Julia’s leadership and passion have resulted in a transformative impact in the lives of children and youth with disabilities and development differences, at Holland Bloorview and across the healthcare sector, through research, teaching and learning. Prior to joining Holland Bloorview, Julia spent 9 years in leadership roles at Toronto Metropolitan University and worked with the Ontario government in roles including Chief of Staff to the Attorney General of Ontario. A lawyer by training, Julia has also served on numerous boards. She has spent her career in government, post-secondary education and healthcare as a champion for cultural transformation, innovation, excellence and social justice.
