Trevor Heer
Interim VP, Integrated Client & Community Care and Chief Operating Officer
Trevor Heer is VHA’s Interim Vice President, Integrated Client & Community Care and Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to stepping into this role, Trevor served as VHA’s Senior Director, Integrated Client & Community Care, where he was accountable for the organization’s programs and services in Central and Eastern Ontario. He began his career as a Registered Dietitian in the hospital sector before transitioning to home and community care. He has extensive leadership experience in both community support and home healthcare organizations and has supported Ontario’s health system transformation by participating in several provincial forums and Ontario Health Teams.
Trevor joined VHA in 2019.
Trevor is known as a strategic and collaborative leader with demonstrated success leading transformative projects. He is committed to building relationships with health system partners and driving operational excellence to provide better experiences and outcomes for service providers, clients and families.
Trevor holds a Master of Health Science in Health Administration from the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food from Toronto Metropolitan University. He is registered with the College of Dietitians of Ontario. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys spending time outdoors with his partner, daughter and French bulldog and keeping active by playing hockey in a local recreational league.
