Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development and Chief Human Resources Officer

Kelley Myers is the Vice President, Human Resources & Organizational Development and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at VHA Home HealthCare (VHA). Kelley brings over 25 years of progressive HR work experience in the non- profit sector to this role. Prior to joining VHA in 2007, Kelley was Interim Executive Director of Family Service Toronto, a non-profit, social service agency offering counselling and support services to clients in need.

As CHRO at VHA, Kelley leads the organization's people strategy, encompassing talent acquisition and retention, total rewards, people analytics, learning and development, labour relations, health and safety, and organizational culture. VHA has embedded diversity, equity and inclusion as cornerstones of its operations, fostering a culture where diversity is respected, equity is pursued, and inclusion is practiced at all levels. Kelley plays a key role leading this work and shaping a healthy, safe, and thriving workplace for over 3,000 staff and service providers.

Kelley holds a Certificate in Labour Relations from Queen’s University and a Masters Certificate in Healthcare Management from Schulich School of Business.

Kelley served on the Board of Directors for Queen West Community Health Centre from 2012 and was President from October 2014 to March 2017, helping lead the successful merger with Parkdale Community Health Centre in 2017. Her volunteer work has included providing mentoring support to youth transitioning out of Children's Aid Society care in pursuit of higher education and career success.

A passionate golfer and novice gardener, Kelley finds joy in the outdoors and in the sense of challenge and reward both hobbies provide.
