Antonela Ilic is a Research Associate at VHA Home HealthCare.

She completed a Master of Science in Public Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo, with a specialization in epidemiology and biostatistics. Her Master’s research examined the epidemiology, healthcare use, and costs of pregnancy-related listeriosis using administrative data.

Her current work includes leveraging administrative data at VHA to better understand the nursing workforce in home and community care. Her general research interests include evaluating health service utilization and costs, occupational health, health equity, and infectious disease epidemiology.
