Dr. Madison Brydges is a Homecare Scientist at VHA Home HealthCare.

Informed by social science perspectives, Madison is enthusiastic about drawing on multidisciplinary, qualitative, and mixed method approaches to support home care research at VHA. Madison brings experience leading research projects in academic and applied settings, with her previous work spanning the topics of community health, aging, health policy, and health workforce research.

Madison holds a Master of Arts and PhD in Health Studies from the Department of Health, Aging & Society at McMaster University. She has a status appointment as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Department of Family and Community Medicine. Madison also has over ten years of experience working as a paramedic in Ontario.
