Though rewarding, looking after a person who is ill or has special needs can be physically and emotionally exhausting—especially when juggling life’s day-to-day demands. VHA’s Caregiver Relief/Respite program offers primary caregivers a much-needed break. Whether you’re caring for an adult, senior or child, we’ll work with you to create a customized solution that balances your needs with those of your loved one’s.
Nursing relief services include:
- Wound care
- Medication administration
- Tube feeding
- Pain management
- Ventilator care
- Bathing and personal care
- Preparing meals
- Light housekeeping
- Assisting with moving and walking
