We are currently seeking a:
Customer Service Centre Coordinator- 1 Year Contract
OPSEU/VHA Pay Scale Level 4-$37,886.82-$44,809.03 per year
Flexibility in scheduling is required - rotating shifts including days, weekends, evenings,
holidays
In this role you will perform all service and scheduling functions for the Customer
Service Centre including acceptance of new client offers, scheduling, service changes
and updates, maintenance of service plans, and communications with clients, funders,
Personal Support Workers, Nurses, and Rehabilitation Providers.
You are an effective communicator with superior telephone skills and can deal
effectively and courteously with clients, funders and employees using your excellent
customer service skills. You’re able to effectively deal with or diffuse caller conflicts
and complaints and have excellent listening skills. Your cultural competence means
you communicate well with diverse stakeholders who have varying language levels,
knowledge and understanding of the home care system. You are detail-oriented and
can handle with multiple priorities. You possess strong computer skills with proven
speed and accuracy (50wpm) and have experience and a keen desire to learn and use
new software/electronic applications.
You are a strong team player who works effectively under pressure, adheres to
deadlines and are comfortable working in a responsive work environment that changes
to meet client needs and staff availability. You also have proven organizational and
problem solving skills and have continuously developed and upgraded your skills to
achieve personal and organizational performance targets. Knowledge of GoldCare and
the ability to converse in a second language is an asset as is previous experience in
scheduling of PSWs, Nurses or Rehab Therapists. Your relevant Nursing education at
either the RN or the RPN level is a strong asset.
